Ideal for the storage of culture specimens and media, these conical flasks are supplied with a black SVL® PBT screwcap allowing the flasks to be heated to 180oC.

If sterilising flasks by steam or dry heat, the screwcap must NOT be fully tightened. Slacken off first. Failure to follow this procedure can result in pressure build-up and possible fracture of the flask.
